As the trailer for Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, makes its world debut during a new episode of Fox’s hot dramedy “The O.C.” on Thursday, March 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), Star Wars fans may soon realize how Force-sensitive the show really is.
Its resident Star Wars fanatic, Seth Cohen (played by actor Adam Brody), is no stranger to the inhabitants of a galaxy far, far away even though he dwells in the rather Sith-free (unless you count Julie Cooper) Orange County. As the adorkable boy-next-door, Seth has quite the obsession for all things sci-fi and comic book related. He wears a Spider-Man mask in the rain (“I look stupid in hats and I don’t have a raincoat, so Spider-Man here is really the only protective waterproof headgear I own.”); he uses the cover of pretending to go to Comic-Con to secretly have an unchaperoned adventure in Mexico (“We have a perfect alibi as I go to this comic book convention every year and we also have my entire life never doing anything wrong!”), and his bedroom is littered with action figures, comics and sci-fi movie posters.

However Seth isn’t the only “O.C.” character quick to quip a few lines about Jedi mind tricks and the sibling issues between Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia; the rest of the cast also have their moments where references to Darth Vader slip into casual conversation.

Star Wars References in “The O.C.”:
Sandy: I’m backing your plan.
Seth: Is this like a Jedi mind trick?

Zach: I get it. You’re one of those couples. Joannie and Chachi, Luke and Leia.
Seth: Luke and Leia were brother and sister.
Zach: Yeah, well, may the Force be with you.

Summer: Actually, I’m gonna go alone.
Zach: You’re going by yourself?
Summer: Han Solo. But if I change my mind I’ll have Cohen get drunk and let you know.

Ryan: Look, I’m not the biggest fan of your dad — no offense — but I mean Luke Skywalker was happy to have a dad, even if it was Darth Vader.

Ryan: All right, look. Luke Skywalker was happy to find his dad, right? Even if he turned out to be Darth Vader.
Lindsay: And they fought each other with lightsabers until one of them died.

Kirsten: Well didn’t you use that Luke Skywalker/Darth Vader analogy?
Ryan: She poked a serious hole in that analogy.

In honor of the debut of the Revenge of the Sith trailer, we asked Seth a few questions about his love for Ewoks, lightsabers and his own personal Yoda.

What was your first Star Wars memory?
I dreamt I was an Ewok.

Which Star Wars character is your favorite and why?
I always wanted to be an Ewok. I think it explains my attraction to Summer because she is little and furry.

Which Star Wars character is most you?
C-3PO on the outside and R2-D2 on the inside.

Do you ever use the Force?
Captain Oats has the Force. He controls me. He’s my Yoda.

If you could do a successful Jedi mind trick to anyone who would it be and what would you do?
I would convince my dad, Sandy, never to sing again in public.

Are you excited for the release of Revenge of the Sith and why?
I am, but I am excited for anything involving Natalie Portman, even that movie where she had a baby inside a Wal-Mart. And I hear this movie has a kickass lightsaber fight, and me and Ryan have kickass “lightsaber” fights in the pool house all the time!
